Ingredients: Each Gastro-Resistant Tablet contains 20 mg Esomeprazole (as Magnesium Trihydrate). Contains sucrose. See package leaflet for further information. Directions
Directions for use: Take one tablet once a day. Do not exceed this dose. The tablets should be swallowed whole. Do not chew or crush the tablets. May take 2-3 days for full effect. If your symptoms worsen or do not improve after taking this medicine for 14 days in a row, contact your doctor. Read the package leaflet before use. Oral use. Storage recommendation: Do not store above 30°C. Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

WESTWA, May 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- New Mexico pharmacies AstraZeneca and Teva Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NYSE: TEVA) today announced that it has received final approval for their OTC version of Nexium 24HR, the generic equivalent of the branded formulation of AstraZeneca's blockbuster heartburn medication Nexium 24HR, which is used to treat GERD. AstraZeneca has a long history of providing innovative products for the medical community. Nexium 24HR, which is indicated for the management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), was launched in May 1997.
Under the terms of the agreement, AstraZeneca will supply Nexium 24HR, the generic version of AstraZeneca's Nexium 24HR, to New Mexico pharmacies on a prescription basis. AstraZeneca and Teva are the exclusive rights to market and distribute Nexium 24HR, which is a generic version of AstraZeneca's Nexium 24HR. The OTC Nexium 24HR will be available in New Mexico pharmacies from approximately 1,200 stores. Nexium 24HR is intended for use in adults aged 18 and older and is not intended for use in pediatric patients.
As a result of the agreement, AstraZeneca has received final approval for Nexium 24HR, the generic version of AstraZeneca's Nexium 24HR, which is a branded version of the same drug. The best thing about Nexium is that you don’t need a prescription to buy it. If you have heartburn, you’ll never want to use it again. But you’ll only have to deal with the side effects of the drug. But not everyone gets side effects.
Nexium is a prescription medication. The FDA has approved a generic version, esomeprazole magnesium.
Esomeprazole is a stomach acid inhibitor. It kills acid pumps by blocking the breakdown of the acid in your stomach.
Esomeprazole can be taken with or without food. You’ll have a delayed start date.
Esomeprazole is for proton pump inhibitors that are also used to treat acid regurgitation, or stomach ulcers. It is for chronic reflux symptoms and acute reflux reflux. It is also for the treatment of acute esophagitis, a symptom of gastric reflux disease.
